Hi everyone,

I have posted this question in gnu.gcc.help but I got no reply. Please
help.

I tried to port gnu binutils-2.9.1 to minix-vmd. The BFD ( binary File
Descriptor) needs a value for the variable. HOST_STACK_END_ADDR. I don't
know what does this means in the a.out.h. The variable is needed for
(native) porting of the BFD.

STACK_END_ADDR is somewhere in the executable format but I don't know
the value in the a.out.h represents this value.

I also tried to port the binutils as cross compiling dependancy for gcc
in Freebsd but I don't know whether I should set this variable also.

It would be a great help if someone can answer these questions.

Yours sincerely,

Arthur
