On an IBM PC it is often the case that MINIX must be installed
on a larger system first then chopped up and transferred to the
smaller system. I don't know the hardware requirements for the
AMIGA to use MINIX but this is how it's normally done on the
    IBM PCs.

You can get used 28.8k and 33.6k modems for next to nothing. A
sysop _gave_ me his old internal 33.6k modem!

NB> Dunno how often folks read this newsgroup. Hope the spam

If you can't get help here or you just want extra help you can
get help on local BBS that carry either FIDO's LINUX echo
(people there use MINIX also) or possibly the AMINET echos.

FIDO echos are accessible via the Internet at www.docsplace.org
    also.
