Well, trying to make PPP to run make me feel so dumb.

I have recompiled my kernel and inet is now there when booting my
2.0.2 dos version. I have make some changes in /etc/rc (things are
not exactly the same as in doc, and I had to test for /dev/psip rather
than /dev/eth because I erased /dev/eth while following install
directives. Now nonamed is executed when booting.

Now, trying to use the ppp.drv. I used kermit to call my isp.
Oh yeah I recompiled with debug the ppp.drv because was not working.
The problem is that my eyes see the responses from the peer on the
modem lights, but they don't show in the log (the log only gives
10 transmit on configure-request with nothing received).

The strange thing is that when the peer disconnect, and I try ppp.drv,
I get the configure-request echoed by modem and it then received the
packets it send. But like I said, in normal on-line time, I see the
answers of the peer on my modem, why that ppp.drv doesn't seems to
see on /dev/tty01 what *I* can see?

Also beginning to try to use chat.
Of course it doesn't work! Why should it? I never told it to use
/dev/tty01 so how should it know? The problem is that I don't see
anywhere in chat.man how to tell it to use /dev/tty01!

Please someone give me a bit of light in my lonesome darkness!
