An IDE ZIP may work if it looks like a normal IDE disk (with a flag bit
telling that it is removable.) If it uses the IDE/ATAPI protocol like
CD-ROMs do then it will not work. (I'm planning to write an ATAPI
driver, but I first have to buy one of those devices.) A parallel ZIP
will certainly not work.
