Minix PC maxes out at around 9600 baud - among other reasons, the serial
port drivers don't understand the 16550.  MSDOS with a 16550 can handle
38400 with no problem, and possibly higher - I use that with Procomm Plus.
Without a 16500, again you're limited to 9600 or less, depending on the
machine.
