There's a lot of networking stuff to be done in 1.7, tho' the 
fundamentals are there; device drivers, daemons, and so on.
Talk to Kees (kjb@cs.vu.nl) before you start, so you don't waste
time on stuff he and Philip are already debugging.

The Minix kernel is a lot tidier than Linux, and you may find it
a bit easier to work on.
