You really need to get the cat.tar.Z pre-formatted man pages from 
ftp.cs.vu.nl, and read them.  Installation just has too many details
to summarise in a post.

Installing off a 360 disk isn't fun - you almost certainly need to
have a running Minix system to cut down the standard 720K disks to
360K.  I'd be inclined to put a 1.44 drive on the XT as a first step:
dos utilities won't do you much good, as they can't handle the Minix
filesystem.  But installing off a 1.44 floppy (assuming that you have
a hard drive) is fairly straightforward, and well documented.
