NOTE: Energetic electrons at greater than 2 MeV returned to more normal
levels today.  The intense stratospheric warming centered over eastern
Siberia that is influencing the northern polar region continues and is slowly
weakening.  The temperature gradient is reversed between 60N and the pole
in the lower and middle stratosphere and the mean zonal wind at 60N is
very weak at 10 HPA.  The possibility of major warming continues to exist.
