PACKET RADIO DATA REPORT
SOLAR TERRESTRIAL DISPATCH
(PACKET: VE6MGS@VE6MC.#EDM.AB.CAN.NOAM)
(INTERNET: COLER@SOLAR.STANFORD.EDU)

NOTE: Energetic electron fluence at greater than 2 MeV was at high levels
today. Intense stratospheric warming continues around the pole. The center
of the vortex exists over the Barents Sea with the coldest air over
southeastern Europe, moving eastwards. In the middle and upper stratosphere
(above 30 HPA) the temperature gradient is reversed between 60N and the pole.

The SIDC Brussels provisional international mean monthly sunspot number for
January 1995 is 23.8.
