PACKET RADIO DATA REPORT
SOLAR TERRESTRIAL DISPATCH
(PACKET: VE6MGS@VE6MC.#EDM.AB.CAN.NOAM)
(INTERNET: COLER@SOLAR.STANFORD.EDU)

NOTE: Energetic (greater than 2 MeV) electron fluence continues at high
levels. The very intense stratospheric warming (centered over northern
Siberia) continues over Siberia, the polar region and northern Europe, while
the coldest air stays over the central Ural. In the whole stratosphere the
temperature gradient is reversed between 60N and the pole and the mean zonal
wind at 60N has been weakening in the middle stratosphere (30 and 10 HPA)
during the last several days. Major warming possible within the next few
days.
