John lived in Merrimac New Hampshire and was a longtime employee of DEC working in the Tempest/EMC lab. He was a well know sight at many hamfests throughout the country. He had what could be considered one of the largest personal collections of exotic military communications equipment in the US. He was an information contributor to the internet "New England Hamfest Bulletin" that appeared on the net every month or so. I am posting this at the request of Mr. Jeff Kruth (of K-MEC West) a close personal friend of John's. Although I was only a casual acquaintance of John's I will truly miss his presence at the Baltimore area hamfests as will Jeff.
