The geomagnetic field at Learmonth (WA) was mostly unsettled, with brief minor storm periods 00-03UT. Ionospheric F2 critical frequencies at Sydney were 15-30% depressed 00-08UT and 16-18UT, 15-20% enhanced 11-14UT and from 20UT onwards, with sporadic E obscuring the F layer 02-03UT. December 4 Solar activity was very low. The geomagnetic field at Learmonth (WA) was quiet to unsettled Ionospheric F2 critical frequencies at Sydney were 15-30% enhanced until 11UT and near normal thereafter. December 5 Solar activity was very low. The geomagnetic field at Learmonth (WA) was quiet to unsettled Ionospheric F2 critical frequencies at Sydney were near predicted monthly values December 6 Solar activity was very low.
