ALBANIA: 1098 Durres has been off its regular frequency (1089) for

BELGIUM: 927 BRT 1 is back again. R Donna is now only on FM. (BE

BOSNIA: Radio Bosnia-Hercegovina has started newscasts in English.
They are approximately at 1800 and 2210. The main frequency is 612

BYELORUSSIA: R Mahileu (ex-Mogilev) on 5430 kHz opening with local id

279 Osipovicy has Minsk regional program "Radyjostancyja Stalica"

GERMANY: 999 RIAS has now added a transmitter in Schwerin on this

KALININGRAD: 1386 has a locally produced program "Dl'a tech kto v

Kaliningrad R regional programmes: 0500-0545, Mon-Fri 0525-0545,
weekdays 0615-0700, Saturdays 0830-0900 & 1215-1300, Sundays 1300-1400

LITHUANIA: R Gimtines Svturys (Homelands Lighthouse) is broadcasting
programmes to fishermen in Lithuania on 666, 1557 and 9710 Saturdays
at 0200-0230. Reports are requested to P.O.Box 512, Klaipeda 5802.

1458 Radiocentras transmitter in Kaunas will be only 5 kW. It is
selfbuilt and is expected to come on the air in September. The 1485
transmitter in Vilnius has been active for some months now and has

NORWAY: R Free Burma is broadcasting on 17840 at 1430-1455 via R
Norway. They have an option to broadcast for 1 hour daily. (MN via

RUSSIA: R Shark is on 1395 and 5780 kHz. Address: Prospekt Oktyabrya
56/1, Ufa 54, Bashkortostan 450054. Active 0200-0600 Monday to

R Revival (Vozrozhdeniye) is on 1305 kHz. Active 0300-2100. Address is

R Nazdheza (Hope) is broadcasting on 7280 and 15340 kHz at 1900-2200.

Rukhi Merto (Spiritual Heritage) from the Moscow Islamic Centre is
broadcasting on 11630 and 12075 at 1500-1545 on Fridays. Also

SPAIN: RNE5 Murcia on 567 is now 50 kW. New address is Callejonolma

UKRAINE: 1431 Mikolayiv-transmitter is used for VOA programs in
Ukrainian 2000-2100. Before the start of the VOA program at 2000 a

UNITE DKINGDOM: The BBC's rolling news service (Radio 6) should
commerce broadcasting by January 1994. It will be on 198 kHz.

There are plans for up to three new London-wide AM stations, an East
London ethnic station and additional metropolitan services in cities
such as Liverpool, Birmingham, Leeds, Edinburg and Dundee. The new
London stations will probably use 990 kHz, 1458 (currently GLR) and

Following stations might close on AM: 1458 GMR, 1458 GLR, and 828 &
1458 WM. GMR and WM are going to close before October 1st, 1992 and
