STARWEB

This is the classic game of interstellar combat which is the longest
running PBM games there is. It was first introduced in 1972 and is still
very much alive today!
Run to fixed deadlines (usually 2 weeks) players adopt one of 6 possible roles:
Berserker, Pirate, Merchant, Artifact Collecter, Empire Builder or Apostle and
have to build up their score by mayhem, fighting, trading, collecting, settling
or converting as is appropriate to their role. Each game is finite and ends
when a player wins by reaching the unknown victory score limit. STARWEB is run
by us in Holland under licence from Flying Buffalo. It is possible to play
STARWEB through our BBS. Recently STARWEB was featured as a demonstration game
in FLAGSHIP magazine.
