Planetary Data

(P) Addir:
Addir, 5 X 7 sectors, has an atmosphere of Xenon, a temperature of 210 to 300 degrees
Fahrenheit, and a gravity of .7 G.
Addir is a small planet in the PW system. Its Xenon atmosphere gives it an unbreathable
atmosphere and its terrain is equally inhospitable. From orbit it appears to be
completely covered with mountains. No flat areas can be observed.

(G) Great Barton:
This is a small, cooling gas giant. It has two moons, Pinkit and Forge.

  (M) Forge:
Forge, 11 X 22 sectors, has an atmosphere of hydrogen, a temperature of
  -150 to -100 degrees Fahrenheit, and a gravity of 1.0 G.
Forge is one of the two moons of the gas giant, Great Barton. The moon
has an odd glass-like appearance and is extremely bright from reflected light.

  (M) Pinkit:
Pinkit, 11 X 22 sectors, has an atmosphere of hydrogen, a temperature of
  -150 to -100 degrees Fahrenheit, and a gravity of 1.0 G.
Pinkit is one of the two moons of the gas giant, Great Barton. The moon
has an odd glass-like appearance and is extremely bright from reflected light.

(P) Litz:
Litz, 17 X 34 sectors, has an atmosphere of carbon dioxide/methane, a temperature
of 120 to 210 degrees Fahrenheit, and a gravity of .7 G. Litz has 4 islands and is about
80% sea.
Your ship instruments detect incredible amounts of electromagnetic activity emanating from
the land masses of the planet Litz. It is obviously intelligent in nature.
Litz has no moons.

(G) Mentonian:
This is a large gas giant in the PW system. Its extremely intense electromagnetic
activity prevents sensors from operating while in orbit. The planet has one moon, Winston.

  (M) Winston:
  Winston, 22 X 44 sectors, has an atmosphere of hydrogen/ cyanide, a
temperature of 20 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit, and a gravity of 1.5 G.
Winston, the lone moons of the large gas giant, Mentonian, has an
extremely deadly atmosphere. The longer a ground party operates on this world the
greater the chance that someone will get ill.

(P) Nogo:
Nogo, 9 X 18 sectors, has an atmosphere of oxygen/ethane, a temperature of 70 to 100
degrees Fahrenheit, and a gravity of .7 G. Nogo has 2 large islands and is 60% liquid covered.
This is a small world with two oddly shaped land masses. There are indications that the
world has a large biomass. The world has no moons.

(P) Zotz:
Zotz, 13 X 26 sectors, has an atmosphere of carbon dioxide/methane, a temperature of 120
to 210 degrees Fahrenheit, and a gravity of .7 G. Zotz has two islands is about 80% sea.
Your instruments detect incredible amounts of electromagnetic activity coming from the
surface of the land masses of the planet Zotz. It appears that the entire land surface
contains some form of intelligent activity. You cannot determine the nature of the various
kinds of activity, but it is obvious that it consumes massive amounts of energy. Zotz has
no moons.

Additional Information

System
Ion Storm: Ion storms are space hazards that overload a ship's sensitive computer
components. Upon entering an ion storm a ships will receive one mu of damage for
every functioning item that is an integral part of the ship. This does not include
missiles, people or any item in cargo. It does include the hulls of the ship. If
multiple ion storm hexes are entered the damage will be cumulative.

The way to avoid the ion storm is to jump past it instead of travelling through it.

Forge
Forge surface observation: The ice covering the surface of Forge is composed of frozen
water of unusual clarity. Instruments indicate that land is present about 4 3/4 miles
below the surface. The ice appears to be of relatively recent origins, 500 to 1000 years.
There appears to be no unusual formations below the ice. The ice is perfectly pure, no
impurities.

Litz
Sector Scan Results: Due to the extraordinary amounts of electromagnetic activity it
is impossible to get a clear sector scan. Evaluation of the limited data received
indicates that the planet is literally covered with buildings and various structures.
The resolution is too coarse to determine any additional details.

Pinkit
Pinkit surface observation: The ice covering the surface of Pinkit is composed of
frozen water of unusual clarity. Instruments indicate that land is present about 5
miles below the surface. The ice appears to be of relatively recent origins, 500 to
1000 years. There appears to be no unusual formations below the ice. The ice is
perfectly pure, no impurities.

Winston
Winston's Greater Bleeb: An oddly cylindrical creature 6 inches high, 1 inch in
diameter. Is rooted same depth into the ground as height.

Biolab analysis of greater bleeb: All attached by microscopic main roots. Have
characteristics of both flora and fauna. They communicate and have a fairly developed
nervous system but depend on sunlight and root system for nourishment. Hair like
electrical conductor.

Zotz
While in orbit around Zotz a 1 mu alien artifact appears out of thin air in your
command section. It is conical in shape and is covered with 1/4" wide grooves that glow
from within. It just sits there transmitting electromagnetic energy in all directions.

Sector Scan Results: Due to the extraordinary amounts of electromagnetic activity it is
impossible to get a clear sector scan. Evaluation of the limited data received indicates
that the planet is literally covered with buildings and various structures. The resolution
is too coarse to determine any additional details.
