Additional Information

Bodega
Sector Scan results: Structure [teleporter] at 6-1 5B on flat area 40 miles in diameter. 6-3, 8-4 forests, 6-13 plains.

Cspotp
Sector 2-2 exploration: You land next to the mountain. It is so steep that a ship cannot land any closer. There appears to be a structure on top of the peak. No flora and fauna, barren and rocky ground.

Cspotp Structure: Located at the top of the tallest mountain on the world is an odd alien structure. Shuttle flybys reveal that the structure is built of what appears to be a crystalline material formed into many fine spires and buttresses. There is no safe place to land on the mountain itself and all approaches must be made on foot at the rate of 70 tu per mountain square. There is no sign of activity or means of external entry to the structure.

Structure: Upon arrival at the structure you see that it is composed of some kind of slightly opaque mineral, something similar to quartz. The structure appears to have been formed in one piece as there are no seams. Instruments indicate that there is a breathable atmosphere inside of the structure. After a short while your people observe small glowing red lights moving around within the structure. Your banging around seems to have no effect from within. The structure is about 100 ft. by 100 ft. and probably weighs 2000 mu's. You climb all over it with no additional results. No other high mountains are detected nearby.

Inside structure: The supplies land with only a few items damaged [we dropped via shuttle]. You start to construct the airlock but the material is not conducive to opening a hole that large. It appears that it would start to crack if a hole the size of an airlock was put in. You do, however, drill a small hole into the wall and insert an optical probe to view the inside. Inside you observe an odd procession taking place. The inside of the structure is composed of tiers of benches kind of like an auditorium. Seated on them are odd short dark humanoids. They are wearing dark robes and you really can not see them too well. Walking down the aisles are many of the creatures holding a staff with a glowing light on them. They are about 3 feet tall and appear to be totally unaware of your presence, even in light of the substantial amount of noise you made. They are walking extremely slowly and an odd low chanting seems to be coming from the "crowd".
Questions: Q: Watch ceremonies. Does the procession repeat? A: Does not seem to repeat. Q: Try observing using infra-red, microwave, x-ray, etc. Do these guys look real? A: They appear real but they seem to be structured for a much higher gravity. They are biological. Q: Attempt to learn is there anything underneath the crystal structure? A: There appears to be some structure or tunnel leading downward from the structure. Q: Is the area surrounding the crystal structure at all modified to support the structure? A: No. Q: Check the surrounding area for artificial construction/excavation. A: Nothing artificial.

Further info: The beings are not leodians. The temperature inside the structure is -450 F. The beings appear to be moving at 1000 times slower than us. The chanting sped up is a high pitch singing/language. They appear to be praying to God. There are about 1000 to 1500 inhabitants. Inhabitants with lighted staves do not dress differently. The crowd is paying attention to head priest on the stage. The crowd size changes: some come and go out of a ramp in the middle.

More info: The structure looks most like a piece of crystal from the outside, sunk somewhat into the surrounding rock. It is relatively difficult to access the underground part of the structure, in the area of 1000 AP's. The religious rites seem to be some kind of training or instruction, maybe. The beings are designed for 4-5 G range, climate not determinable. There are no exits from the inside to the outside.

Message: Bore a hole in the stage and say "We are aliens and we want to talk with you!" Do it loudly, slowed by 1000, and in their language. Shine a light through the hole continuously. Response: They do not appear to see the light but the sound does seem to confuse them, the stop what they are doing and mill around and then the entire group files out down the ramp. A week later: no one returns.

Hodedo
Magnetic field caused 30% damage to crew/soldiers on board (30% were injured) when a ship ended its turn in orbit.

Oups
Sector 3-2/5E: Upon landing you are greeted by a 3 ft tall feline looking biped. The structure in the square appears to be some kind of access port to a below ground facility. The creature introduces himself as a leodian from Wooster's Pride. He would like a group of 2 of your people to accompany him to Wooster's Pride. You can take personal effects but no weapons.

Nunzio
The radiation level is incredibly dangerous, with substantial casualties taken by a ground party (60% after 30 tu's).

Rundikrun
Instruments indicate that there is land north of row 8.

Rundikrun surface exploration: The particular area of Rundikrun that you have explored is composed of oddly eroded landscape. The soil is predominantly sandstone which is deeply eroded by the wind and the rain. There are immense cliffs and deep gorges. Movement by ground vehicles is virtually impossible. If more than 10 tu's are spent on the surface, there is a 50% chance of damage due to the elements.

Wooster's Pride
Sector 5-5: cultivated grassland, 3-2: buildings (most of the sector).
Contact with Woosterians: We receive an audio transmission telling us to land at 3-2 5E, because it is centrally located. The electromagnetic activity appears to be some "radio" transmissions, transmitted in rapid bursts. It appears to be mostly related to shipments & arrival dates. The technology is most likely comparable to very early Imperial. Fields are cultivated with a berry topped grass.

Further contact: After telling them we can't land (yet), the reply is: they do not have shuttles. Land at 3-2 on Oups otherwise, they reply "so you can be teleported to Wooster's Pride, of course." See Oups for more details.

Teleportation: They take your crew into a room that can hold about 200 mu's. A door closes and then reopens. It is obvious that you are on Wooster's Pride due to the now high gravity. Your crew will be able to survive for about 140 more tu's in this gravity. You exit the room and then go into another room. It appears that the way that the teleporters work is that each only goes to one other place. Each connects to a switching station that has 10 rooms adjacent to it. This allows you to go from any one place to another with only a few room changes (kind of like telephone switches).

Diplomatic contact: You are taken before an old leodian who seems to be their leader. He welcomed contact with your race and he would like to work with you. However, they have little interest in trading, items or technology. They would only consider a deal if it involved jump technology and ship building. These appear to be the only two areas they are lacking.

Leodian questions: Tell us names of the Leodians we contact. A: all names are odd purring sounds and do not translate. Q: Ask about the teleporters. A: The teleporters are all over Wooster's Pride. There is only one on most of the planets. Q: What is the crystal structure on Cspotp? A: They do not know about it. Q: Can we colonize Bodega? A: You can colonize the planet. They do have an outpost there. Q: Are there any other technologies you have that we could trade for? A: They think that the teleportation is the only item. Q: How did you get to planets other than Wooster's Pride in the first place? A: A probe was sent, containing a teleporter. Q: We play our tapes about Cspotp to them. Are the beings from Wooster's Pride? A: They have no idea who they are. But they would like to check it out for themselves.

Teleporter details: The teleporters require 1 mu of collidium per (200 mu) shipment. The support structures for the "stations" are 100 mu's in size. All materials can be teleported safely.

More details: The teleportation technology is quite simple but requires a 100 mu structure/device at each end of a transmittal link. Each structure is connected to only one other structure. One mu of collidium is required to move 200 mu's or less. The devices appear to work any distance within a system, but not inter-system.

Treaty with Leodians: The Leodians agree to the following mutual defense treaty. "If your world of Wooster's Pride is attacked, we will dispatch ships and material to your defense. Likewise, if our colony on Bodega is attacked, you would do your utmost to defend it." In addition, we have agreed that "The Samillians and Leodians will never invade each other's planets, not attack any holdings or ships or ground parties of the other." The Leodians want to be able to visit one of our planets, however.

Negotiations: The Leodians want to know if they could get jump materials (i.e. pulac) in exchange for collidium on a regular basis. They have to check out our strion ore to determine if they would accept it in trade. They are willing to trade 10 collidium for 1 pulac.
