The support toolbox serves as a convenient "home" for miscellaneous tools.

There are a number of Perl scripts for performing various and sundry tasks,
including: kcrsum and kcksum, for creation of and verification of checksum
files; klint, for checking toolboxes for junk files; kpack and kunpack, for
packaging and unpackaging contributed toolboxes; ktvi, for editing a file
without touching its data, and lockingvi, which only allows one user to edit
a file at any one time.

There are also a number of utility programs for the management of toolboxes
and software objects, such as: kdbmcat and kdbmedit, which allow you to print
or modify the object attribute information stored in a software object's
database files; kdiffobj, which allows you to compare differences in files
between two software objects; kfindobj, which allows you to look for an object
with a particular name; and kecho, which allows you to look for software
objects with specified attributes.
