Tkman doesn't run anymore after updating to 6.3(Internal)

Symptom:

After updating from SuSE Linux 6.2 to 6.3, calling tkman fails with the following error message:

Elided text patch not installed in /usr/bin/wish.
You must apply elide.patch, included with TkMan, to Tk and rebuild wish.

Cause:

On your System, one or more of the packages tcl_new, tk_new or tix_new was installed. In the first edition of SuSE Linux 6.3 information was missing, that would have caused those packages to be deleted automatically before updating the packages tcl, tk, or tix_new.

Solution:

Delete the packages with

        rpm -e tcl_new
        rpm -e tk_new
        rpm -e tix_new
