Graphic card ATI 3D Rage IIC + RAGE IILT

Request:

You want to use the mach64 server (series "x", package "xmach64") for your ATI 3D Rage IIc. But the card is not detected correctly by the starting server.

Procedure:

As user root edit the file /etc/XF86Config and locate the section 

        Section "device"
           Identifier  .....
           VendorName  .....
           BoardName   .....

Add the following lines: 

           ChipId 0x4755
           ChipRev 0x01

and save the file. ´startx´ should now work.
