Duplex Printing

SuSE Linux: Versions up to (including) 7.3

Situation:

You want to print on both sides of the paper (duplex).

Prerequisite:

You have a PostScript printer.

Procedure:

From SuSE Linux 8.0 on, please refer to the "Reference" manual.

Up to SuSE Linux 7.3, please refer to /usr/doc/packages/aps/README or use the "preloads" duplexoff.ps or duplexon.ps in /var/lib/apsfilter/preloads.
The procedure with preloads is explained in the manual's apsfilter configuration section, in the chapter on printing. Alternatively, you can read the article "Printing: Gamma Correction (Adjusting the brightness)" which can be found in our support database by entering the keyword "gamma".
