YaST resp. SuSEconfig changes file permissions

Symptom:

YaST resp. SuSEconfig is invoked; afterwards the permissions of several files have changed.

Cause:

SuSEconfig analyses the data in /etc/permissions if the variable CHECK_PERMISSIONS in file /etc/rc.config is specified.

Solution:

• Edit the file /etc/permissions.local and enter the value local in the variable PERMISSION_SECURITY in file /etc/rc.config .
• The change fromCHECK_PERMISSIONS to no isn´t recommended.
