YaST2 Printer Configuration doesn't work for Epson Stylus Color 740/760 and compatible printers

Solutions:

• Either do the configuration using YaST2:

  Configure your printer via [Manual] and select as "manufacturer" Ghostscript devices and as "model" uniprint and in the "printers settings" menu choose a stc740...upp driver.

• or do the configuration using SETUP (respectively lprsetup):

Remark:

In case of unsuccessfull attempts it is recommended to move the file /etc/printcap. Log in as root and type
mv /etc/printcap /etc/printcap.save
and after this please try to configure again.
(With rm /etc/printcap you may delete this file.)
