PCMCIA: Version - 3.1.17

Symptom:

You use a Teles 16.3 PCMCIA card. When inserting it, tail -f /var/log/messages produces the following output: 
Aug 28 17:50:26 linux cardmgr[138]: initializing socket 1
Aug 28 17:50:27 linux cardmgr[138]: unsupported card in socket 1
Aug 28 17:50:27 linux kernel: cs: memory probe 0xa0000000-0xa0ffffff: clean.
Aug 28 17:50:27 linux cardmgr[138]:   product info: "TELES", "S0/PC", "21", "0000"
Aug 28 17:50:27 linux cardmgr[138]:   function: 6 (network)

Cause:

The file /etc/pcmcia/teles.conf is missing.

Solution:

Create the file /etc/pcmcia/teles.conf with the following content: 

device "teles_cs"
#  for the 1tr6 protocol:
#  class "isdn" module "net/slhc", "misc/isdn", "misc/hisax" opts "type=23 protocol=1",  "teles_cs" opts "isdnprot=1"
class "isdn" module "net/slhc", "misc/isdn", "misc/hisax" opts "type=23 protocol=2", "teles_cs"
