This contains the latest portable version of FUDGIT. The latest release of GNUPLOT has been put here for your convenience. A postscript copy of the manual has been included for those not having access to LaTeX. If you have LaTeX, you can generate the manual from the distribution files. FUDGIT compiles on AIX, DATA GENERAL, HPUX, IRIX, LINUX, NeXT, OSF, SUNOS, and ULTRIX. The current version (2.33) has dynamic loading capabilities when compiled on IRIX, SUNOS and ULTRIX. Dynamic loading is the ability of loading user-defined routine-objects and libraries all in real-time and interactively. Source objects can be in C or FORTRAN. Version 2.33 is now full ANSI C. (Compilers not supporting ANSI C will require a translator. There are good ansi to kr translators around.) Matrices and basic matrix manipulations are in the process of being added. The final objective is to develop a user interface able to load some user-chosen modules of netlib. User would then be able to build a personal tool box out of the netlib pool of PD mathematical routines. (If I ever get time...) I expect feedback from you for further developments. Martin-D. Lacasse
