This package contains the following tools:

- photomolo:
  generate thumbnails and static HTML navigation for a collection of
  digital photographs
- jpegcom:
  read or write textual comments embedded in JPEG images
- exifiron:
  orientation correction and optimization of EXIF JPEG images
- jpegnail:
  removal and insertion of thumbnail images in EXIF and JFIF JPEG images

The tools have been written by Marko Makela (marko.makela (at) iki.fi),
and they are free software; you can redistribute them and/or
modify them under the terms of the GNU General Public License as
published by the Free Software Foundation; either version 2, or (at
your option) any later version.

The script files in the "examples" directory are in the public domain.
They are not installed by default, as you will probably want to adapt
them for your needs.

The following text covers libjpeg and the file transupp.c, from which
the code for lossless JPEG image transformations (rotating and
flipping) in exifiron.c has been derived.  According to comments in
transupp.c, the transformations were initially designed and coded by
Guido Vollbeding.
