UNITED KINGDOM
Radio Canary took to the air on 10th September using 1602kHz. It is a new low
power RSL station from Norwich. It will operate before, during and after the
Canaries (Norwich City) home football games through out the season. It
radiates just one watt of power but puts out a very good signal. Comfortably
heard 30 miles to the south west of Norwich despite BBC Kent sharing the
channel with considerably more power. Reception during daylight hours should
be possible (with suitable receiver and decent aerial) along the east coast
of England maybe as far North as Hull. (The signal might even cross the N Sea
to Holland)

Station Manager is Ray Cossey (Commercial Manager at Norwich City FC)
Station Address is c/o Norwich City FC, Carrow Road, Norwich
Reception reports welcomed
(Steve Whitt)

RUSSIA
