ESTONIA: Eesti R announced on February  2nd that the  postal code
in their address has changed to EE-0100  TALLINN. The street name
has also  changed last autumn. It is  no  longer Lomonossovi, but

Mulgi Raadio, Viljandi on 1602 has two programs a day. On working
days at 1040-1100 and   1600-1620.  Transmitter started to   work
last summer  and   Mulgi R  started  their broadcasts on December

(Mon,Wed  (RR), Thu, Fri),  1040-1100 (Tue, Wed, Fri),  1915-1930

GERMANY: 520 BR will increase the  power to 5  kW of its Wurzburg

The integration of DLF into DW will take place in the early 1992,
making DW the centre of German external broadcasting. (12)

ITALY: The  Voice  of Europe has   restarted tests on  SW.  Noted
first time on January 20th at 1400-2300.  The station relayed RTV
Carnia  Vacante, "RTCV", a local  FM  station. The FM station  is
owned by the same organization as  Vo Europe. Address : RTCV, Via
Ermacora 4, I-33028 Tolmezzo, UD, Italy. The station  is going to
broadcast 24 hours a day beginning in  March. Reports are welcome
to P.O.Box 22, I-33170 Pordenone, PN, Italy. The frequency of the
station has varied around 13640 kHz. (5)

R Music, Matcharata will start broadcasting on SW on 7115, 11575,
15105 or 15355 kHz. (20)

R   Europa Int, Brescia v/s is   Mariarosa Zahella, who told that
they have 2 kW on 9420 and 4 kW on 17490 kHz. (18)

KALININGRAD: MW  transmitters  on 1215 and  1386  are situated in
Bolshakova (75  km  ENE of Kaliningrad) according  to information
from the transmitter in Kaunas. (13)

LITHUANIA: Radiocentras is broadcasting in  English and Esperanto
on the last  Saturday every month at  0700-0800 on 9710 kHz.  The
German programs planned to begin in November have not been on the
air yet. Radiocentras is now broadcasting over Lithuanian Radio's
second  program for 16 hours  a day on FM  71.81  MHz, as well as
over a network  of 6 FM transmitters around  the   country for  7
hours a day. (3)

PORTUGAL: RdP Porto   1377 v/s is  Lourenco da  Silva,  Technical

RUSSIA:   (Should this  item belong  only  to Asia???/RKO): Since
January 1st shortwave transmitters in the former Soviet Union are
no  longer heard  to  relay  the Radio Afghanistan  domestic  and
external services. Beginning in 1979,  the USSR had made about  6
transmitters available to the authorities in Kabul. (2)

Beginning from the December  30th, 1991, Radio 2  (HS) relay 24 h
programme "Molodezhny  Kanal  Radiostansii Yunost" (Youth Channel
of the Radiostation Youth). The program  consists of music, news,
talks,  phone  conversations  with    listeners  and advertizing.

of  February  or early  March.  New address  for  the  station is
Albareda  1, 3.piso, 50004  ZARAGOZA. V/s   is  Manuel Garcia  de

1269   COPE Figueras,  Catalunya   with regional news produced by
Cadena Andorrana, IDs as "Radio Andorra".  They are in  charge of
news for COPE in Barcelona area. (6)

0750-0800, 0850-0900, 1200-1400, 1450-1700, 1900-2000, 2130-2200.
Saturdays : 1330-1430, 1450-1500.  Sundays : 1400-1430, 1450-1500

774 RNE R1 Valencia  has  5 minutes regional news  at 0650, 0755,
1005  and 1605. "El  tema del  dia" is  broadcasted 1208-1229 and
Comunidad Valenciana 1230-1259 Mon-Fri. New address : Calle Colon
13, E-46004 Valencia.

UNITED KINGDOM: BBC  R  3 leaves 1215 kHz  on February 28th.  The
network will be   used for the  new   Independent  National Radio
network, yet to be awarded. (1)

Southern   Radio      Holdings,     who  own     Ocean      Sound
(Southampton/Portsmouth)   and  Southern  Sound (Brighton),  have
taken over Invicta Radio Group, the ILR station that serves Kent.
Southern's South Coast R will soon be carried by  the Kent medium
wave transmitters on 603 and 1242 kHz. (1)

In a QSL to Lars E.Svensson the  EiC of BBC R Guernsey  says that
Guernsey  and  Jersey have decided  to allow an independent radio
station on each island. No mention  of  whether MW or FM  or both
will be used. (15)

Beacon   R says it  has  ``strong interest'' in  applying for the
Ludlow and South Shropshire ILR licence. (16)
