Phoenix is a freeware program. This means anyone can copy and use it
freely for any non-commercial purpose. Any part of Phoenix program,
it's code and documents may NOT be sold for profit. PD libraries and
ftp sites are allowed to spread this program if they take no profit
for it. Donations and other support are always welcome to help
authors' always too small bugdets. The authors hold their copyrights
on the program code, but you are allowed to use parts of Phoenix
source code in your own non-commercial programs. If you use part of
Phoenix code on your program the same rules automatically apply to
your program too (so your program becomes freeware as Phoenix is). It
would also be nice if you'd mention the original authors' names where
ever you use the Phoenix code. If you make any changes and additions
to Phoenix code, your code becomes freeware and the same rules apply
to it too.
