The code part is begun by the appearance of either ‘@a’ or ‘@< Module name @>=’.

5.4.1 ‘@<’: Begin module name

‘@<’ begins a module name, which has the form ‘@< TeX text @>’. (Module names inside FWEB macro definitions begin with ‘@#’, not ‘@<’.)
