If you're not reading xemacs-beta you should be.  This is unstable code under
development and vital bugfixes have been made available daily.  The configure
code has been rewritten, this may mean that what used to work on your system
no longer works.  Other destabilizing code is going to be added.

WARNING:  As of XEmacs 20.3-beta15 a number of lisp packages are
distributed separately of the main distribution.  Please see the 
directory ftp://ftp.xemacs.org/pub/xemacs/beta/packages-20.3/, read the
instructions in etc/BETA, and stay tuned to xemacs-beta for further
information.

An optional utility has been provided for applying patches.  See
xemacs-patches.sh.
