                             Command : STARVATION

 SYNTAX:
   [##:##] Command: starvation <SECTS>

The starvation command displays all sectors that will starve  at  the  current
time.  It  does  not take into account emergency food growing & supplying (see
info supply) It also does not worry about feeding babies...  it  merely  check
for  starvation. If you want population increase, you'll need to chuck in some
extra food...

In the syntax of the starvation command <SECTS> is the area on which you  wish
information, (see info syntax).

A typical usage might be:
   [##:##] Command: starvation 0:9,0:9
which would list data for an area to the south-east of the capital.

A starvation report lists each of your sectors in the specified area that will
starve, headed by:

                             Command : STARVATION

   CENSUS
     sect       eff

These columns represent:

sect  the x and y coordinates of the sector
 eff  the efficiency of the sector (affects all benefits of a designated  sec-
      tor except mobility units)

For example:
   [##:##] Command: starv #0

   Tue Jun 20 00:33:43 1989
   STARVATION
     sect       eff
      2,-2  f  100% will starve 12 people, 1 more food needed
     -1,-1  f  100% will starve 112 people, 2 more food needed
       2 sectors

command.
