                              Command : CAPITOL

 SYNTAX:
   [##:##] Command: capitol <SECTOR>

This command changes the location of your nation's capitol. The new sector
must be of type "capitol" or "mountain", and must be owned by you.

Your capitol produces BTUs. The amount made is (TU*civ*effic * rate). TU is
the number of time units that have passed since your last login. This is the
number reported by version:

An Empire time unit is 1440 seconds long.

Civ is the number of civs, effic is the effic of the sector, and rate is a
constant, currently .0004.

If the efficiency is 0, an alternate formula is used: (TU/2)*civ*rate This is
effectively equal to an efficiency of 0.5%

                              Command : CAPITOL

This command does not change your coordinate origin (where 0,0 is located), so
if you prefer your coordinates centered on your nation's capitol, you must use
the origin command. For example:
   [##:##] Command: capit -10,-4

Your capitol is now at -10,-4.

   [##:##] Command: orig -10,-4

Designation of new origin requires revision of sector numbers.
Origin at -10,-4 (old system) is now at 0,0 (new system).

If the unthinkable should come to pass, and an enemy captures your capitol,
bad things happen. Some happen once, immediately:

                              Command : CAPITOL

   1) You will lose half your cash, or $3K, whichever is more.
   2) Your enemy will gain half your cash, or $3K, whichever is more.
However, if you have LESS than 3K, the max your enemy can gain
is all your cash. Cash gained is then multiplied by the efficiency
of the capitol captured before being credited to your enemy's
           bank account.

Re-taking a previously taken capitol has no further effect. Once an update has
happened, or a new capitol has been declared with this command, you are again
in peril of these two awful things.

Some effects happen right away, and last until you use the capitol command to
create a new capitol. The effects are:

                              Command : CAPITOL

   3) You will not be able to use many commands (use the
'list of commands' command to see the pitiful few you may still use)

   4) You will not get any more BTU's.

Mountains acting as capitols always operate as if they were a 0% capitol,
regardless of efficiency. This means the btu generation is: (TU/2)*civ*rate.
You don't have to do anything to the capitol first, you just need to own it.
(i.e. you don't have to designate it a capital or anything) However, in the
matter of money lost, the amount is determined by the efficiency of the moiun-
tain, so a 0% mountain would give 0, a 100% would give 100% of the normal
amount, etc.
