                               Command : RECON

 SYNTAX:
   [mc ##] Command : recon <SPYPLANES> <ESCORTS> <SECT> route

The recon command is used to gather intelligence about sectors that the spy
mission overflies. You specify the spyplanes performing the overflight, any
fighter escorts, the assembly point, and the flightpath that the spyplanes
will take.

Recon missions can be intercepted just like any other mission. If the desti-
nation sector is not an airport, then all planes in the mission must have
V/STOL capability.

Note that planes built for reconnaissance generally have a lower observability
factor than most other planes; while it is possible to send a fighter escort
with a recon mission, they will increase the chance that the spyplane will be
spotted (and hence intercepted).
