                                Command : MOVE

 SYNTAX:
   [mc ##] Command : move <ITEM> <SECT> <PATH> <AMOUNT>

The move command allows you to move items (commodities and people) from one
land sector to another. You specify the item to be moved, the sector from
which the move will start, the route that the move will take, and the quantity
of the item to be moved.

You must own the sector from which the move will start, as well as each of the
intervening sectors including the destination. To move through sectors you do
not own, use the "explore" command.

Instead of the normal <AMOUNT> argument, you can use a '*' symbol, which indi-
cates to the command that you want to move the maximum possible number of
<ITEM> that the mobility in the <SECT> will allow.

If you enter an incomplete <PATH>, the move command will prompt you with the
current sector, and the length of the path taken to this point.

                                Command : MOVE

If you don't enter an amount, the move command will prompt you with the max-
imum amount that could be moved given the mobility in the starting <SECT>.

Mobility costs for traversing each sector depend on the efficiency of the sec-
tor and the sector type; most sectors have the same base mobility cost with
the exception of mountains, which cost lots of mobility, and fully-efficient
highways, which cost none.
