                                Command : MAP

 SYNTAX:
   [mc ##] Command : map <SECTS>

A map gives you a graphic representation of all or part of your country. You
select the range of sectors over which the map is to be constructed.

Your own sectors show up as a designation mnemonic (see sectors(i)) while sec-
tors held by other countries appear as question marks (?). Mountains, wilder-
ness ares, and seas appear as '^', '-' and '.' respectively. Sectors about
which you have no information show up as blanks (' ').

Note that the range at which you can see sectors that you do not own depend on
the efficiency of your own sectors.
