                               Command : LAUNCH

 SYNTAX:
   [mc ##] Command : launch <MISSILES> <SECT1> [SECT2 ...]

The launch command is used to launch missiles holding either conventional or
nuclear warheads from sectors or nuclear submarines owned by you. You specify
the missiles which are to be launched, followed by the sector coordinates of
each missile.

Missiles armed with a nuclear warhead will carry the nuclear charge to the
destination sector and detonate it there. Typically this results in a rela-
tively impressive explosion and significant damage to the target sector, and
possibly other neighboring sectors as well, depending on the size of the dev-
ice.

Since it is possible that your target has deployed a ground-based antiballis-
tic missile system which may intercept your missiles, each of your nuclear-
tipped missiles come equipped with decoy warheads that will help to fool any
defending ABM system. The number of decoys is equal to the space left on the
missile after having been loaded with the nuclear warhead.

                               Command : LAUNCH

Missiles armed with conventional warheads (the default) will perform a land-
sector attack on the target sector. Each conventional missile attack will hit
all commodities, sector efficiency, and mobility in the target sector in much
the same manner as the sector bombing attack flown by planes.

Once all targeting data is entered, the launch command will notify you of a
successful launch, targeting, and (if all goes well) the detonation of the
warheads in their target sectors. Note here that it is much safer to use 100%
missiles than those which are less efficient, and missiles below 60% cannot be
launched.
