                             Command : DEMOBILIZE

 SYNTAX:
   [mc ##] Command : demobilize <SECTS> <NUMBER> <apply-to-reserve?>

The demobilize command returns soldiers from active duty to civilian life.
You specify the sectors to affect, the number of troops to demobilize in each
sector, and a "yes" if you want the troops to be a part of your active reserve
forces.

Troops can only be demobilized in sectors which have greater than 60% effi-
ciency, and only in home sectors (that is, not in occupied territory). Only
military at 100% miliary efficiency may be demobilized.

In specifying the number of military to be demobilized, you can specify a
desired level by using an equals sign in front of the number. Rather than
demobilizing the specified number of military from each sector, the command
will attempt to reduce the military in each sector to the specified level.

As a result of demobilization, and as a thank you for serving their country in
its time of need, a GI Bill is given to each soldier to the tune of $5 each.

                             Command : DEMOBILIZE

When troops are successfully demobilized in a given sector, the number of mil-
itary that were demobilized is printed along with the total number of military
remaining in the sector.

You have the option of placing demobilized troops on active reserve. The
active reserve provides a pool of available military for a small salary (usu-
ally the same amount generated by a civilian worker) and allows for quick
mobilization of military whenever a threat arises to your national security.
