                              Command : DELIVER

 SYNTAX:
   [mc ##] Command : deliver <ITEM> <SECTS> <THRESH> [direction]

The deliver command is used to specify the threshold values and the direction
that specific commodities will be delivered during the update. You specify
the variable to be delivered, select the sectors that are to have delivery
instructions added to them, the threshold value that the item must exceed
before delivery of the excess takes place, and an optional Empire direction
character specifying the direction of the sector to which the delivery will
occur.

The <THRESH> argument determines if the [direction] argument is used. If you
use a number for the <THRESH> argument, then all selected sectors will have
their threshold values for that item set to the <THRESH> value, and the direc-
tion character is not used.

If you place parenthesis around a number for the <THRESH> argument, then the
direction character is required and will be applied to each sector that is
selected, or prompted for each selected sector.

                              Command : DELIVER

To stop delivery of a particular item, you should specify the stop direction
character (usually 'h').

Since delivery thresholds are stored as a multiple of 8, specifying a thres-
hold of 25 will actually become a threshold of 24.
