	MAILSERVER @ NIC.FUNET.FI --- LISTCMDS HELP

-!LISTCMDS|LISTS
These commands use current reply address as your target address,
thus if your host changes its name, and thus your real address changes,
USE REPLYTO -COMMAND! Don't complain us...

Searches are done case insensitive, and system tries to find
your userid even if they are mungled with aa%bb@cc systems...
In any such cases, only a list of possible matches is returned, unsubscription
is never completed unless address match is exact (+- upper/lower case).

+LIST
LIST

Gives a list of lists on this mailserver.
-LIST
+SUBSCRIBE|SUBS|SUB|SIGNON

SUBSCRIBE	<listname> <real name>

Aliases:	SUB, SUBS, SIGNON

Listname is matched case insensitive, and <real name> must have
at least one word in it. (There are people whose complete name
	contains plain one word!)

<real name> is copied straight, thus you need to make sure you
can enter mixed case of you want to have them. Also a set of allowed
characters is: [A-Za-z0-9 .,:;-+_=\[\]{|}] but no others.
(Sorry about it \"Oidvings.. -- 7 bit Swedish ascii: \idving)

Mailinglists get realnames ALWAYS in parenthesis:
	   "John Smith"  ->  "(John Smith)"
this is due to UNIX sendmail requirements of `:include:'d
	address list syntax.
However you may NOT enter them with parenthesis..

To CHANGE <REAL NAME> you just need to issue SUBCRIBE command again
with new <real name>. Old entry is replaced automatically with new.

Example when a person wants to join NEWMSDOS, and has real name
	`John Smidth':

		subscribe newmsdos John Smidth

To leave a list, see command UNSUBSCRIBE <listname>
-SUBSCRIBE|SUBS|SUB|SIGNON
+UNSUBSCRIBE|UNSUB|UNSUBS|SIGNOFF

UNSUBSCRIBE	<listname>

Aliases:	UNSUB, UNSUBS, SIGNOFF

Listname is matched case insensitive, and further arguments cause
	command rejection.

You can use `*' instead of list name. Then delete is addresses on
every list supported by this server.

If for some obscure reason your address is in the list multiple times,
(hand edited into it, not by server,) all of its presences are deleted
at the same time. (Same mechanism is behind duplicate removal used in
	SUBSCRIBE command.)

If you can't do a normal `UNSUB' (machine name changed from under
you, r something else as hilarious..) there is command: `DELETE'.
	See its own help.

-UNSUBSCRIBE|UNSUB|UNSUBS|SIGNOFF
+ADD|DELETE

ADD <listname> <recipient-address> <Real Name>
DELETE <listname> <recipient-address>

Form of SUBSCRIBE/UNSUBSCRIBE where you can add/remove just about
anybody! If recipient address must contain spaces, you are over
	the deap end, my friend..

	Example:

		add tcp-group mea@utu.fi Matti Aarnio
		delete * foo@bar.addr

And remember: If you remove somebody against his/her will, you
are commiting a crime - very least bad mannerism!
-ADD|DELETE
+REVIEW|REV

REVIEW <listname>

Alias: REV

Prints list intro header -- text -- and members of the list.
-REVIEW|REV
+REVME

REVME ( * )

Lists all lists and indicates if you are in any of them or not.
Does NOT list complete list of members, only your present address
	and name info.

If `*' is used, match is done in fuzzy manner.
-REVME
