                 Midi File Creator (32 bit) v6.4


Create a new directory, preferably called Midi File Creator.
Download or move the zip file (mfc32d64.zip or other) to this directory.

Unzip the zip file. Often, this can be done by simply doubleclicking the
zip file, and then selecting Extract, and Extract Files. Extract the files
to the same directory.

Doubleclick on mfc32dem.exe, and the program will run.

Once the program is running, select Help from the 
menu, and then select Overview to get basic information.

Much more detailed information is provided by pressing F1, or selecting
Help; Contents from the menu.
 
If everything is running okay, the zip file can be deleted to save space.

To set up program start-up (assume the program is in directory c:\Midi File Creator):

1) Click on Start, then Settings, then Taskbar & Start Menu.
   (In xP and up, select Control Panel, Taskbar & Start Menu. 
   Then under the Start Menu tab, select Classic Start Menu.)
2) Click on tab Start Menu Programs
3) Click on Add
4) Command line is c:\Midi File Creator\mfc32d64\mfc32dem\mfc32dem.exe (or use the browse button to find
   it).
5) Select an existing folder, or create a new one and assign a group name
   (e.g. Midi File Creator or Music Programs).
6) Enter the program name - Midi File Creator

   That's it!

To uninstall this program, simply delete the directory used (e.g. c:\Midi File Creator)
and its contents.
