Description
-----------

Outlook Attachments Security Manager allows you to define which attached
files should be considered as "dangerous" for their further blocking, and
which - "secure" for granting access to them.

If you often send various attachments by e-mail, you have come across the
situation when Microsoft Outlook completely blocks access to potentially
insecure types of files (e.g., to *.exe, etc.), even though you are
absolutely sure about their safety. With the help of this Outlook add-in
you can specify which file types are regarded dangerous and which ones -
safe. You can permit access to the previously blocked file types, or fully
prohibit access to the file types selected by you. If you are not sure
about the safety of this operation, you can switch on the blocking of these
file immediately after saving the required file.

Installation
------------

Important! If you've got Outlook Attachments Security Manager not from our
web page, but from the other source (magazine CD or some software library),
please visit our home page - you'll probably find the later version;
usually, we release the updates about once a month.

To install Outlook Attachments Security Manager, just run the "setup.exe"
and follow the instructions. You'll need to select the target directory.

Notes for Microsoft Windows 95/98 users. If you have installed Windows
Installer version 1.x, the following error message will appear during
installation:

error 1155: file \\INSTMSIA.EXE not found

To avoid it, you should download and install Windows Installer
version 2.0 or later. It can be downloaded from Microsoft web-site:

   - version for Windows NT 4 and Windows 2000
     http://download.microsoft.com/download/WindowsInstaller/Install/2.0/NT45/EN-US/InstMsiW.exe

   - for Windows 95, 98, and Me
     http://download.microsoft.com/download/WindowsInstaller/Install/2.0/W9XMe/EN-US/InstMsiA.exe
