  Welcome to ConPresso 3.3

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------

  THE CONPRESSO-PRINCIPLE

The CMS ConPresso helps you maintaining your internet-, extranet- or intranet-sites.
Apart from the opportunity of creating and modifying internet-content, ConPresso provides
you with a complete user-administration, a workflow-management and an extensive administration
of article-versions. Thus management of webbased content becomes much more easier for
editors and administrators. Partly work can be automated by ConPresso.

Work in ConPresso is based upon articles. Therefore an article is the smallest
logical unit in use. Texts, links, pictures and files can be integrated into an
  article.

An article consists of the following elements:

	- index
	- titel [titel-URL]
	- subtitel [subtitel-URL]
	- teaser
	- further-text
	- textblock 1 [article-text]
	- textblock 2 [continuing-text]
	- picture [picture-URL]
	- caption
	- file [file name] [file-prologue]
	- URL 1 [link-text 1]
	- URL 2 [link-text 2]
	- URL 3 [link-text 3]

	- autor
	- e-mail
	- initials
	- date

The elements teaser, textblock 1 (article-text) and textblock 2 (continuing-text) can
be formed individually via integrated WYSIWYG-editor according to your own formatting
requirements. You can integrate and format tables. Additionally graphic arts and files
can be inserted into these elements.

Besides every article is assigned a certain template by the editor. Templates can be
designed by super-users and administrators and put to the editor's disposal in the
  respective categories afterwards.

The following sketch is illustrating the structure:
  ---------------------------------------------------

Varying articles, designed with different templates:

  +---------------+ +---------------+ +---------------+ +---------------+
  | XX article 1 | | article 2 XX | | article 3 | | XXXXXXXXXXXXX |
  | XX | | XX | | XXXXXXXXXXXXX | | article 4 |
  | XX | | XX | | XXXXXXXXXXXXX | | XXXXXXXXXXXXX |
  +---------------+ +---------------+ +---------------+ +---------------+

In a category (here: category "A") several different articles are published:

    category A
  +--------------------------+
  | global header |
  +--------------------------+
  | local header |
  +--------------------------+
  | |
  | +---------------+ |
  | | XX article 1 | |
  | | XX | |
  | | XX | |
  | +---------------+ |
  | |
  | +---------------+ |
  | | article 2 XX | |
  | | XX | |
  | | XX | |
  | +---------------+ |
  | |
  | +---------------+ |
  | | article 3 | |
  | | XXXXXXXXXXXXX | |
  | | XXXXXXXXXXXXX | |
  | +---------------+ |
  | |
  | +---------------+ |
  | | XXXXXXXXXXXXX | |
  | | article 4 | |
  | | XXXXXXXXXXXXX | |
  | +---------------+ |
  | |
  +--------------------------+
  | local footer |
  +--------------------------+
  | global footer |
  +--------------------------+

In each category additional opportunities of configuration in the category-settings
are to the editor's disposal. They allow a flexible adjustment of each article's
layout. Every article shown above can be faded in or out alternatively.

By finally editing the header- and footer-files each category can be graphically adjusted
to your personal website. HTML-knowledge is needed at this point.

  The result:
  -----------

By easily combining the free-formattable articles from the template editor
with the setting options of the category-settings, the integrated WYSIWYG-editor and
the adjustment of header- and footer-files you will be offered an almost unrestricted
amount of different layouts for your website. For further information concerning the
individual graphic adjustment of the system please study the README.txt - file.
