V-Scheduler:
------------
V-Scheduler is a reminder and application launcher designed with total
flexibility in mind. It consists of a highly intuitive user-interface
and is extremely easy to configure. There is no limit to the number of
schedules that can be programmed. Each schedule can have a unique sound
linked to it so you know instantly when the time comes. In addition to
the schedules you also have a small footprint clock which can sit
anywhere on your desktop. The time and date format can be set to your
own preferences. You can also automatically synchronize your system
clock with any time server on the net. This means you never have to
worry about your clock being wrong ever again.

Main Features:
- unlimited number of schedules
- pop up a reminder message or launch an application
- repeat reminders at regular intervals between first and final times
- repeat whole cycle at user-defined intervals (days, months, years etc.)
- synchronize system time with net time server
- associate sound with schedules either individually or globally
- log all scheduler events
- automatically perform housekeeping tasks e.g. delete expired schedules
- small footprint clock or run in system tray only
- set your own date and time format
- customize many aspects of display
- configuration and schedules backup and restore functionality

Platform:
---------
Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP

Installation:
-------------
To install run the executable file vs-setup.exe and follow the
instructions.

If you are upgrading from v1.x.x, then this version cannot use your old
data. We, therefor, recommend you install this version in a different
directory. The two versions will happily run side by side and you may
find this useful if you want to transfer your old data.

To uninstall, click on the "Uninstall V-Scheduler" icon in the V-Scheduler
program folder.

Distribution:
-------------
The software is freely distributable via all media, providing no charge
is made (except for reasonable handling charge) and all files in this
package are included. If different conditions prevail then written
permission from the author is required.

We support PAD (Portable Application Description) file format. The PAD
file URL for this product is:

History:
--------

2.1.0
You can now specify a working directory for applications to be launched.

2.0.2
	Maintenance release. Minor bug fixes

2.0.1
This fixes a nasty bug concerning the log file which got through in the
	previous release

2.0.0
This version sees a complete revamp of the program. It is now
written in Delphi which, for the user, means no more worries about
extra libraries and compatibility issues. From the design
perspective, it gives us a lot more flexibility for future
	expansion.

The program has all the existing features plus many new ones. The
	major changes are listed below.

You can now customise many aspects of the program including the date
and time formats displayed by the clock.

You can now associate sounds with schedules, either individually or
	globally.

You now have the option to minimize the application to system tray.

The application can now connect to a time server and automatically
adjust system time at regular intervals. You never have to worry
about your clock being wrong ever again.

You can now backup your configuration and schedule information.

However there is one minus. We have had to change the way schedule
data is now stored. This means that your old data is now
incompatible and needs to be entered again. We are sorry for the
inconvenience but this was unavoidable. We hope you will accept this
as a worthwhile sacrifice in order to achieve much more flexibility
	for current and future upgrades.
