1. Introduction
---------------
Serial Music Composer version 1.00 is a program for algorithmic music
composition. The basis of the program is the twelve-tone serial
composition technique developed by Arnold Schoenberg. The program provides
several options via a standard Windows graphical user interface.
Compositions may be played immediately from the program or saved to a MIDI
file.

2. Installation
---------------
The distribution package is normally provided as a .zip file. First
uncompress the .zip file, then run setup.exe. 

How to Uninstall
................
Open the Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs dialog box and select the
program for deinstallation.


3. Registration 
---------------
Following installation, the program operates as an unregistered version. This version
allows all features of the software to be used except for file saving. In
order to save a composition as a MIDI file, registration is required.

The registration fee is $14.95. We accept payment by PayPal. We also accept checks and money orders.
