Subject: Wny can't I quad my MEFM?

Well...

Finally got my MEFM (my ninth kite I am a sicko)

Love it, love it! Whatta kite!

But tell me...it seems the double bridle is made for quadlining. Does
it work? Anyone tried it?

BTW When is anyone gonna tell me they have a Jester! (also a great,
underrrated kite)

cheers..
Brucef

Heh. Come back when you hit 50 or a 100. Right now you sound only vaguely
obsessed; hardly a sicko.

I assume you're talking about the infinity bridle. This is not set up for
quading, but rather to allow the flyer to fully adjust the pick point
around the face of the sail. I've yet to see an MEFM with a dual/quad
convertible bridle such as you'd find on the Ultra.

Mind, any delta can be quaded; there've been a number of postings on the
subject by Ron Reich, myself, and possibly others. Check the archives.

The Jester got some favorable discussion in r.k last year...

I knew that. hehe, no really I figured that, but the ads all say you can
easily quad it. I thought it might be something not so obvious.....ah
well.

Ok, cheers..

I know, I was discussing it. The only reason I brought it up again was I
got an icarex version last week. Even nicer than the carrington version! I
just wanted to see if anyone else had one..
