Hello all,

During the International Kite Festival at Scheveningen, 1995, I met a guy
showing off his new ballet kite design, which he wanted to produce in
Europe.

His prototype was called 'A Damn Fine Kite', and his visiting card showed
'Pendragon Kites'.

I lost this card however, and wondered if anyone knows this guy I'm talking
about. I would like to ask him if he is to attend Scheveningen 1996, and
would like to meet him again there. He wasn't on the net then, although I
made him curious talking about the Internet and our 'rec.kites' newsgroup.

Thanks for any info, Leon `LikeWise' Woestenberg.

Hello

you are looking for Charles Hill. His kites are produced in France by a
company called Valérian. Charles lives in Belgium (last info I have) and
it is possible that he will be in Scheveningen.

But well, his kites are.....only flyable by himself.

Stay safe + have fun
Speedy

A little unfair, I think. I saw a bunch of his kites last September at
Brean, and the one I flew flew well enough ( and was very pretty
aswell ) to make me want to buy one. I would have done, but I didn't
have enough money at that time.
