Subject: Protest the Bowls Kite Fly, Seattle

All of you in the Seattle area on New Year's Day are invited to join
our kiting community at Golden Gardens Park for the annual "Protest
the Bowls" kite fly. The weather forecast looks good, the company will
be great, and maybe there will even be some wind... "Official" time is
11AM until freeze up. This annual event is sponsored by Ken and Susan
at Great Winds Kites. I'll be there with my Christmas presents, a cool
purple Fizz Reflex and a Chinese dragonfly. I hope to see some
rec.kiters on the beach.

Err... what sort of protest is it that gets enshrined as an annual
kiteflying event ???
