The Prismatex Dragons are made from the most spectacular fabric
ever made for kites. Stan Swanson and Bob Childs have brought a
9 ft. Octopus, a 25 ft. Dragon and a 45 ft. Dragon to us kite fliers.
When looking at the kite in front of you - you would say big deal-
lots of prizm colors OK. But now launch the kite to about 150 ft.
When the sunlight hits the kite, Its just comes alive with all the colors
you can think of. As the sail of this kite moves the colors roll from
the top of the kite to the tail and as the colors do move from the top
they also change again on the way down to the tail tip. Most of the colors
we saw on our first test fly were, purples, lime , orange, yellows, and
many others, The most simple way to explain this it that it flows like
a river with everchanging colors. The kite (45 ft) flew very steady on
the wrong line weight ( 80# spectra) wind speed around 5-7 ) suggested
line weight by the mfg. is 20#, this is a very stable kite with soft
movement
movements in the wind. We pulled in about 20 ft of line and then let it go.
This action just brought more color to the kite as it regain altitude.
With just this one single line kite in the air we have 20 people standing
around and saying did you see that, wow.pull it in and let go again.
The material is like clear mylar thin film. I did some ruffing up of
the fabric and it will take the punishment. To dress up the clear looking
kite in the absence of sunlight there are two short tails
on the bottom of the head of the dragon which are about 16" long.
with about 6 different colors. This is my first lengthy kite review
and Iam not the best writer or kite flier. I just wanted to share this
new kite with you all.
Retail on the 45 ft. dragon is just short of 20.00 so call it 20.00
The only problem with the dragon is that the head is assembled.
The leading edge is non removable.
All in all great kite, attention getter, kids will love it, trying
to pick colors for a kite, this one will not let you down.
Iam a kite flier and do not have anything to do with the manufacture
other than getting my supply of these kites from him.
See your kite dealer for yours.
Dan

Call east coast Hang 'em High Fabrics tell 'em to keep up the product
development work.

They are looking into the creation of such a fabric...
I've been told that ... The Prizmatex brand kites are the only way to get
thiskinda sparkel in the air.

If counter intelegence is uncovered please post.

Steve Rogers donated one to our event auction and in the package it
looked like no big deal. But the next day when he put it up, wow. We
all wished we had put our hand up one more time. They are soooo cool
looking in the sunshine. I want one, is there a place to buy the
fabric?

Small correction, the lenght of the 9 ft. octopus should read 6 ft.
