Actually I have done no experiments by myself. Possibly never do. Like Steve said "It could turn into a big mess". Anyway I think ink jet printer _might_ be suitable because it does not generate heat (?). The method computerized T-shirt makers use is thermal transfer technique - isn't it? It is probably too hot for ripstop. However there is not hope in using "normal" ripstop, because of the coating. I'll need at least half uncoated stuff. If I ever will try this, you can be sure rec.kites will hear about it. One day I was playing with fractal images on my PC and thought how nice kite they would decorate...
