Subject: Metro Toronto Kitefest - The inside scoop

Now that I have discharged my duty by making the formal
annoucement I can tell everyone the inside scoop about this new
fall kite festival in Toronto.

The Toronto Kitefliers has never had much luck with finding
sponsors outside of the world of kiting...until now! The Mandarin
Club of Toronto is the moving force behind the Toronto Dragon-boat
festival, which is one of the largest of its kind anywhere, with
100,000+ spectators. Winners from that even get sent to a world
championship in the far east. 

They are using the same ideas to get a kite festival off the
ground, except we're doing rok battles instead of boat races. This
has great potential! We expect to start small with around 4-5000
spectators this year. 

In case I haven't made my point...this will be one great rok fight!
I lay this out for everyone so that those of you who don't yet
have a rokakku have a chance to make one. You simply won't want to
miss this!
